We asked our receptionist Kate Hughes to share her Health First story, so over to you Kate:
Here is a little insight into my working life at this current time. I am extremely lucky to be able to juggle a local part-time job at Health First with bringing up a family, with 2 school-age children.
I have worked for Health First for 5 and a half years, I have always worked in a strong customer service based industry. I worked as a travel agent on the high street for over 20 years and always enjoyed the interaction with many different people.
I love meeting all of our patients at Health First, lots of regular patients who have been seeking footcare for many years at the clinic and every day we see new patients coming to us for Jonathan’s expertise.
I work alternate days with our other receptionist Joe, and we have the flexibility to be able to help each other out if needs be. Joe has been a large part in helping Health First to work more efficiently by helping to install a complete practice management application to enable us to file away patients’ manual record cards for good. Now everything is at our fingertips on computer, no more writing up files etc. We do so much online now, like making appointments & invoicing – the list is endless. This has completely changed our day to day admin for the better.
I enjoy processing orders from our online foot products store, First Aid For Feet, and changes to our computer programme recently has enabled us to be more efficient with entering customer details online.
Jonathan has made vast improvements during 2020 to our premises here in Daventry Street. We have 2 clean and freshly refurbished treatment rooms and it is a comfortable environment for us to work in.
